FAQs

Do I need to RSVP?

No, but you may use the contact form linked here to let us know if you like.

May I come late?

Absolutely. The times are to guarantee that somebody will be around , but you are welcome to arrive late (or even early)!

May I come by myself?

Again, absolutely! The idea is that this is an opportunity for mingling either with friends or with someone new.

What do should I wear?

The Mayo is a nicer hotel and as such we would recommend something a little nicer than your everyday wear.

What do I do when I arrive?

Grab a drink (or not) and look for the table(s) with the flyer logo (swan). This will let you know that these are your people.

It’s 8p.m. and no one is here, what’s going on?

Sometimes life is rough, we may be a bit late or our table may be around the corner or outside.

It’s 8:15p.m. and no one is here, what’s going on?

Sometimes life is rough and forces a change of plans. Check the website to verify that we have not cancelled the event or moved to a new location.

Why would we meet elsewhere?

The Mayo has graciously agreed to let us use the space, however, if they have an event booked that overlaps ours, we will be required to move to a different location.

How do I know if the venue has changed or the event has been cancelled?

Check the website for any event changes. This is the fastest and most reliable way to stay up to date on all the happenings.

Do I have to drink?

No, but it is good form to order something. The Mayo offers mocktails for those not inclined to drink and depending on alternate venues, food may be available.

Is there a GroupMe or other forum that I can receive updates?

Nope, in the age of modern technology and the overabundance of group messaging, we have opted to keep only a website and not engage in an overabundance of communication. You may contact us if you wish, here.
